The ‘President Bola Ahmed Tinubu Movement for Door-to-Door Campaign’ on Friday launched campaign vehicles and posters in Yobe, ahead of the forthcoming 2027 presidential elections.
The group distributed the vehicles and campaign materials at the 27th August Stadium in Damaturu.
The movement was led by its founder, High Chief Oweizide Ekpemupolo (Tompolo), and National Coordinator, Sunday Asuku.
The Yobe Governor, Mai Mala Buni, represented by his Deputy, Idi Gubana, declared total support for President Bola Tinubu’s re-election, describing the state as “APC from top to bottom.”
He declared that “Yobe State is 100 per cent behind the president.”
He assured the movement of government’s support and revealed that Yobe has already restructured its campaign machinery from state to ward level.
Tompolo, represented by Asuku, said “President Tinubu’s reforms have enabled governors to pay salaries and execute capital projects.
“With this, there is need to vote for President Tinubu to continue with these good legacies and wonderful development in the country.”
Other stakeholders at the event, including APC governorship candidate, Baba Mallam Wali, State Party Chairman, Mohammad Gadaka and Speaker of the Yobe State House of Assembly, Chiroma Buba Mashio, also pledged the state’s votes for the President in 2027.
