The All Progressives Congress (APC) has pegged the total cost of nomination and expression of interest forms for the 2026 Osun State governorship election at N50 million, as the party moves to kick start its primary process.
According to a timetable released by the party’s National Organising Secretary, Suleiman Argungu, the expression of interest form is N10 million, while the nomination form costs N40 million. Women and persons with disabilities will receive the expression of interest form free of charge, while youths aged 25 to 40 enjoy a 50 percent discount on the nomination form.
The schedule outlines key dates, including the issuance of the notice of election to the state chapter on October 3, 2025, membership update from October 20–31, and the sale of forms from November 12–26, 2025. Submission of completed forms is due December 1, 2025, followed by screening of aspirants December 3–4 and publication of results on December 5.
The delegates congress is slated for December 9, with the governorship primary election on December 13, 2025, while campaigns officially starting March 11, 2026.
