This year themed “Governance in Action: The Gains of the Renewed Hope Agenda,” was held simultaneously across all 40 constituences of the state with Ifako Ijaiye Constituency 02, Ojokoro hosting a packed session well attended by political leaders, traditional leaders, religious groups, community development associations, artisans, women and youth organisations and residents. In his welcome address, the host Hon. Emmanuel Olotu, express appreciation to the Lagos State House of Assembly Speaker, Rt. Hon. Mudashiru Ajayi Obasa, for sustaining the tradition of constituency engagement which has been yielding positive response so far.
The event also attracted the who-is-who and chieftains in the politics of the constituecy and beyond, notedbly amongst who are, the incumbent and former member, Federal House of Representatives Ifako Ijaiye Constituency, Hon. Benjamin Adeyemi Olabinjo, Hon. Adisa James Owolabi, The Executive Chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. (Barr) Oluyemisi Adenike Rosiji; The party chairman of Ojokoro LCDA, Hon. (ALH) Jelili Oseni; The Special Adviser to the Governor on Works, Engr. Adekunle Olayinka, represented by Hon lekan Obayomi. Other Chieftains present include, Hon. (High Chief) Salvador Adebayo; Hon. (Dr) Adeleke Waleeh Ipaye, Prince Adewale Bello amongst others.
Several goodwill messages were delivered during the session, while constituents also raised concerns and requested further interventions from their representative.
