A Magistrates’ Court in Iyaganku, Ibadan, on Friday, ordered that a 50-year-old man, Kilani Alani in a correctional centre for allegedly murdering a 17-year-old girl.
Alani, whose residential address was not provided, is charged with conspiracy, attempted murder and murder.
Magistrate Abimbola Amole-Ajimoti, who did not take the plea of Alabi, for want in jurisdiction.
The magistrate directed the police to return the case file to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
She adjourned the case until April 25, for mention.
Earlier, the Prosecution Counsel, Insp Foluke Adedosu, told the court that Alani and others, at large, committed the offence on Feb. 14, at about 2. 00 a.m, at Gaa Manga via Araromi village, Igboora, Oyo State.
Adedosu said Alani shot the victim with a gun.
She also said that Alani attempted to cause the death of another 16-year-old a minor and a 20-year-old man.
She said the offence contravened the provisions of sections 324, 316 and 320, of the criminal laws of Oyo State, 2000.
