The newly crowned Olu of Ayepe-Olode, Oba Yekeen Olayemi Omisore was born over 60 years ago to the famous family of Anibijuwon Omisore Dynasty, Ogbon-oya compound in the ancient city of Ile-Ife, Osun State. His father, Chief Shittu Olasoji Omisore was the Balogun Musulumi of Ile-Ife and later became High Chief Lowa of the Source during the reign of His Imperial Majesty Oba Adesoji Aderemi. He died on the 3rd December, 1958. While his mother, late Mrs Abeni Omisore, Iya Sunnah of Olorunsogo Mosque, Ogbon- oya hailed from Abeokuta, Ogun state.
He attended St. Peters Anglican Primary School, Oke Esho and Oranmiyan Grammar School, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Having completed his secondary school education, he worked briefly with the then National Bank of Nigeria and later with Investment Credit Corporation both in Ibadan, Oyo State.
He proceeded to the most beautiful City in Europe, Paris, France for greener pastures in 1977 and enrolled for French Language course at Alliance Francoise, later graduated from the University of Paris 8, France with Bachelor of Art (B.A) in Theatre Arts and Cinematography. He did his National Youth Service corps (NYSC) with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA), Abeokuta, Ogun State.
He joined the services of Nigerian Television Authority NTA, Ikoyi, Lagos as a permanent staff and worked meritorious for 10 years before he voluntarily resigned his appointment to establish his own company named CINE MASTER VENTURE based in Ibadan. He is currently the Director of HUFF Engineering Construction Company.
A very devoted Muslim, in recognition of his immense contribution to the upliftment of Islam, he was appointed and turbaned in 2009 as GIWA ADINNI of Muslim Community, Ring Road, Ibadan, Oyo State on 5th of September, 2015. The Ile-Ife Muslim Community, Enuwa also bestowed and turbaned him as GIWA ADINNI of Ifeland.
For his love for the entire Anibijuwon Omisore Dynasty and services to humanity, the then HRM, Oba Olajide David Omisore, appointed him as Balogun of Ayepe Olode Kingdom.
When HRM, Oba Olajide David, Olu Ayepe of Olode joined his ancestors in January, 2022, the Anibijuwon Omisore Dynasty unanimously and overwhelmingly selected Alhaji Abudul Yeeken Olayemi Omisore as new Oba-Elect of Olu Ayepe Olode Kingdom.
On the 17th October, 2022 Osun State Government approved and confirmed the selection of Prince Yekeen Olayemi Omisore as the new Royal Father of AYEPE-OLODE KINGDOM and today given staff of office by the State Governor, Adegboyega Oyetola.
The monarch described Olode town as a land of blessingwhere indigenes and non-indigenes are living peacefully and as indivisible family.
He urged his subjects to live peacefully.
“Omisore dynasty is a natural household name, a name that has never been soiled. Olode is a peaceful town where people live together as a family with love.”
He is married to Alhaja Anifat Omisore and blessed with dynamic and God fearing children.
