…. Says appointment takes immediate effect

The Governor of Benue State, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has approved the appointment of Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande as the Chief Medical Director of Benue State University Teaching Hospital, Makurdi.
In a press statement signed by Tersoo Kula, Chief Press Secretary to the Governor on Tuesday and made available to Nigerian NewsDirect, the Governor also said that the appointment takes immediate effect.
Dr. Stephen Terungwa Hwande, a Consultant Gynecologist of vast experience was before his appointment, the Medical Director/CEO of First Fertility Hospital, Makurdi, Benue State.
The Governor said he is confident in his capability with the belief that as one who is innovative, creative and adventurous, will bear his worth of experience garnered over the years in the health sector on his new place of assignment to resuscitate, reposition and effectively manage the hospital for effective healthcare service delivery.
