Akwa Ibom group felicitates Tinubu; drums support for Akpabio, other anointed senators

Akwa Ibom Socio – political group, the People’s Mandate Forum has saluted President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his Vice, Shettima on their recent inauguration describing the duo as leaders with proven integrity that would transform the country for the good of all.

The group also throw their weight behind the position of the All Progressives Congress, APC, and the National Working Committee, NWC, and President Tinubu for giving direction and choices of presiding officers of the incoming 10th Senate.

The National Coordinator, Comrade James in a joint letter signed by the General Secretary, Alhaji Yahaya Ahmed Hamza, Publicity Secretary, Afolabi Dayo, Treasurer, Ngozi Chokozie and National Women Leader, Emem Ikoiwak expressed their delight to the support and overwhelming encouragement given to the choice of Senators Godswill Akpabio and Jubrin Barau for Senate President/Deputy and Rt. Hon. Tajudeen Abbass and Rt. Hon. Benjamin Kalu as Speaker/Deputy Speaker respectively describing them as noble, astute and loyal /committed party faithful.

He said, their pedigree, pan – Nigerian politicking, support to party ideals are not in doubt and saluted all the members – elect for their audacious courage and commitment to accommodate in bonding and sustaining Nigeria’s unity in diversity.

The group called on other aspirants for the positions to sheath their sword and accept the decision of the party, as other aspirants had sometime benefitted from this gesture.

They called on Nigerians to support the present administration to work for the betterment of the country.
