Ajumogobia’s daughter murdered in Lagos residence

Tragedy struck in the early hours of Wednesday as Aribemchukwu, the daughter of Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia, was found murdered outside the gate of her Parkview Estate residence in Ikoyi, Lagos State.
According to a family source, Aribemchukwu, a medical doctor who had recently married, was killed by her newly employed domestic staff, who attempted to stage the crime scene to appear as if it happened outside her residence.
The source revealed that there were signs of an attempt to clean up blood inside the house and compound.
The Nigeria Police Force (NPF), Lagos state command’s spokesperson, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, confirmed the murder and arrest of three suspects, stating, “Our men have arrested three people in connection to the murder of the daughter of Justice Ajumogobia at her residence in Parkview Estate. One of them is a driver, and the other two are maids. We are investigating and will further inform the public on our outcome.”
The family source warned, “We all need to be super careful, especially with new hires.”
