Ajumogobia, Femi Adesina eulogise NewsDirect Publisher
Former Special Adviser to President MuhammaduBuhari, Mr Femi Adesina has eulogised the Founding Publisher of NewsDirect, Late Dr Samuel Ibiyemi for his contributions to the growth of journalism in the country.
Delivering his condolence message to the family via a phone call, Adesina expressed shock at the demise of the Publisher.
He described his demise as a huge loss noting that Dr Ibiyemi will be sorely missed.
“Your dad was a very good and kind man. For years, he was publishing and promoting my weekly articles without demanding any charge,” Adesina noted.
Reacting, former Nigeria Minister of Foreign Affairs and Petroleum, Mr Odein Ajumogobia described the news as shocking while also commending the late Publisher.
