Leading telecom-munication network, Airtel has rewarded it’s customers in the red hot promo final presentation in GRA Ikeja, Lagos
The General Manager, Mass Market, Airtel, Dipo Jolaoso said Airtel reward of sending 240 people to Dubai, giving 1miillion to 16 people and mobile phones is an attempt to excite and thank customers for their patronage over the years.
He added that winners were selected electronically after buying, loading, and calling with their calls.
One of the winners, Hajia Musilat Abimbola who won a trip abroad with her kids said “sincerely, when I got the call, I thought it was 419,”
A friend to a winner, Sandra Ogunlana, kemi who is traveling with Ogunlana thanked Airtel for its efforts towards it’s customers.
Another subscriber, Mrs Ete who is going with her three sons said “so excited. Infact, I appreciate what Airtel has done for us, i’ve never been there and I’m going to enjoy it.”
The General Manager of High Price Division of consumers production, Mr Bukola Akande urged Airtel and other network providers to better their network for the satisfaction of their customers.
The winners comprising customers from different parts of the country were presented their tickets at a colourful ceremony held at Ikeja, Lagos with top executives from the National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Consumer Protection Council (CPC), friends and relatives of winners in attendance.
Other winners include a civil servant from Katsina,Kabiru Musa; school teacher from Akwa Ibom, Veronica Ette; Bauchi-based politician Abisu Mamiyo; Kaduna-based music producer, Abodurin Babatunde; businessman, from Anambra, Nnamdi Onuzulike; an account officer with a Lagos-based water treatment company, Noel Ukeje; a businessman, Sodiq Oladipupo and Ademola Abimbola, an entrepreneur from Lagos.
Excited to have emerged winners in promo, the customers praised the telco for creating an initiative to appreciate customers on the network.”Airtel deserves huge commendation for this great offer given to customers. I am impressed. The company fulfilled my dream to experience Dubai. It is a trip not everyone can afford, but Airtel made it possible for me to enjoy my holiday,”Ademola Abimbola who chose to travel with children said.
Speaking at the prize presentation to winners, Director, Enterprise Business, Airtel, Tawa Bolarin, noted that the company remains passionate about connecting customers to their dreams and providing credible platformsfor them to achieve their greatness.
“Airtel Red Hot Promo 3 is a strong demonstration of our resolve to reward, excite and uplift our customers for their patronage and loyalty, while we also welcome and offer huge opportunities to new users to our network,” she said.
Head, Mass Segment, Airtel, Dipo Jolaosho, who briefly explained the promo also noted that customers only had to recharge and make calls to win the various prizes in Red Hot Promo Season 3, adding that “the during the 60 days while the promo lasted, Airtel excited its customers with various giveaways. “The next season would be much more exciting,” he said.
While responding to questions, Jolaosho said Airtel in his generositygot international passport for some customers who had emerged winners but could not afford to pay for the passports.
Deputy Manager, National Lottery Regulatory Commission (NLRC), Onyemenam Daniel, applauded Airtel for keeping abiding by the rules and regulations stipulated by the regulatory bodies on promotions.”Airtel showed transparency, integrity in every step of the Red Hot promo and the company is commended,” Daniel said.
Head, Consumer Protection Council, Lagos Officer, Joshua Nggada, who commended the telco’s customers, also noted that the body ensures thatpromotionsdo not infringe on the rights of consumers.
Shortly after the event, the excited winners together with their families and friends departed Nigeria through the Murtala International Airport, Lagos to Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
With the presentation tofinal batch of winners, the telco has fulfilled its promise to excite 240 Nigerians with all-expense paid trip to Dubai, while 60 customers won N1 million each and others won fantastic prizes such as free airtime and devices.
