Agrofirm bags Awards 3 for boosting food security, sustainability in Africa

An Agricultueal Managament Firm, “Corporate Farmers’ International,” has bagged three separate Awards and other nominations for its contributions in boosting Food Security and Sustainability in Nigeria, as well as Africa.

The Co-Founder of the firm, Mr Akin Alabi, disclosed this in an interview  in Lagos.

According to the agroprenuer, “The organisation has earned its place as Nigeria’s most innovative farm management company of the year in one of the awards.

“The brand has proven itself to have committedly worked towards food security and zero hunger in Nigeria.

“We have achieved this with our intense farm Management skills and technological innovations, through consistence and hard work in all its aspects of operations.

“Our strides in boosting agricultural productivity has made Corporate Farmers International as the winner of The Africa Entrepreneur for Agriculture and food business at the Entrepreneur Africa Awards 2021,” he added.

Alabi noted that Agriculture is a sector that had the full potential to develop the economy, creating millions of job opportunities for the unemployed.

“ Hence, the company and its partners over the years have made huge investments in the Agricultural sector, through five major agricultural investment projects across the country,” he ecplained.

According to him, the company is focused on the cultivation of rice, maize, cassava, oil palm and cashew, which are riven towards food security and economic sustainability.

Alabi added: “The Brand has also made investments in technology in the chain, to close the gap between agriculture and education for youth, farmers and students agroprenuers.

“These investments in turn have made our brand to be recognised as the winner of Africa Most Innovative Agricultural investment Platform Brand of the year, which is its 3rd award, in two months.

“We have dedicated these awards to our partners in Nigeria, Africa and other parts of the world.

“ This is With the promise that, we will continue to thrive towards the development of the Agricultural sector in Nigeria and Africa, to ensure food security,” Alabi said.
