Adereti congratulates Oba Yekini Omisore, Olu of Olode Town

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress for House of Representatives, Ife Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election, Engineer Benjamin Adereti has congratulated the Olu of Olode, Oba Yekini Olayemi Omisore on his coronation as Olu Ayepe-Olode, Awolowo Town.

Oba Yekini Omisore was on Friday, 11th November, 2022 given staff of office by the Osun State Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola in Olode, Ife South Local Government Area.

Adereti, in his congratulatory message, eulogised the doggedness of the Monarch in the area of community development.

According to him, Oba Yekini has contributed immensely to his community which accorded him to be crowned as Olu of Olode, Awolowo town.

“The new Monarch is a refined, complete gentleman and God fearing who has contributed hugely to humanity and community developments,” he said.

Oba Yekini was until his coronation, Balogun of Ayepe Olode (Awolowo Town) and was approved by the State Government after being selected as Olu Ayepe of Olode Town, Ife South Local Government Area of Osun State.

The new Monarch succeeded Oba David Olajide Omisore, first Olu of Olode (Awolowo) Town (Ife South Local Government Area) who joined his ancestors in 2021.

The APC candidate described Oba  Yekini as a rare cultured and refined gentleman who mounts the throne of his forefather, stating his reign will witness monumental development.

“On behalf of my family, political associates, I join the family of Omisore, friends and political associates of senator Iyiola Omisore to congratulate Oba Yekini Omisore on his coronation as Olu of Olode, Awolowo Town,” he said.

Adereti, who is contesting for House of Representatives seat in the National Assembly, Ife Federal Constituency in the 2023 general election wishes the new Monarch “many more wonderful years on the throne, good health, sound mind and happiness.”

He therefore, prays God to grant him peaceful reign.

Oba Yekini is the elder brother of the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, Senator Iyiola Omisore.
