The Adeleke family recently held a grand thanksgiving service in honour of their late matriarch, celebrating her life and legacy with a significant donation of N1 billion to the centenary Endowment Fund of the Cherubim and Seraphim Church.

The event, marked by heartfelt tributes and elaborate ceremonies, reflects the family’s commitment to both honouring their beloved mother and supporting their faith community. The substantial contribution is intended to support ongoing and future projects of the church, underscoring the Adeleke dynasty’s enduring dedication to philanthropy and community development.

At the thanksgiving, Chairman, Pacific group, Dr Dr Deji Adeleke (father to popular Afrobeats singer, Davido) donated the money to the Church in honour of their late mother, senior mother in Israel, late Mrs Esther Adeleke.

This was the high point of the Thanksgiving where the lecturer, the Deputy Baba Aladura , Elder Dr H.O. Demuren commended the Adeleke family for their topnotch philanthropy.

“The Adeleke family and their members are rare gems. They serve the lord and humanity in humility and consistency,” the Deputy Baba Aladura noted.
