Adeleke constitutes transition committee — Adamu

The Governor-Elect of Osun State, Ademola Adeleke, has constituted a 37-member Transition Committee to facilitate a smooth transition between the incumbent and the newly elected administration in the state.
This was contained in a statement by the spokesman for the Peoples Democratic Party, Osun State chapter, Oladele Bamiji, on Tuesday. He revealed that the transition committee will be inaugurated by Adeleke on Thursday.
Bamiji disclosed that the transition committee is made up of seasoned technocrats, public office holders and experts from diverse fields.
He added that the committee is to be chaired by Muyiwa Oladimeji, a doctor of nuclear medicine and a fellow of the Euro Institute of Reticulo-endothelial Biology & Medicare while the Director-General of Ademola Adeleke Campaign Organisation, Hon. Sunday Bisi will serve as deputy Chairman.
While the secretary of the transition committee is a serving member of the House of Representatives who is also a legal practitioner, Hon. Bamidele Salam will be assisted by a project management expert, Adekunle Adepoju.
The PDP candidate won 17 of the 30 Local Government Areas (LGAs) in the Osun State governorship election.
APC candidate Oyetola won in the remaining 13 LGAs, according to results announced by INEC on Sunday morning. In total Oyetola of the APC polled 375,027 votes while Adeleke of the PDP claimed 403,371 votes.
