Adeleke celebrates former senate president, Bukola Saraki at 61

Gov. Ademola Adeleke of Osun has rejoiced with former senate president, Sen. Bukola Saraki  on the auspicious occasion of his 61st birthday.

This is contained in a statement  by the governor’s spokesperson, Mr Olawale Rasheed, and made available to newsmen on Tuesday in Osogbo.

Adeleke who celebrated the former Kwara  governor for his enduring records of positive impacts, described Saraki as a consummate politician with strong flair for development.

He lauded the notable strides recorded during the former senator’s two-term tenure as governor which earned him huge pedigrees.

“As senate president and chairman of the national assembly, you deployed a legislative mandate to build a virile assembly with productive output.

“Also, your tenure was a golden age of Nigeria senate,” Adeleke said.

According to him, Saraki’s pivotal role in actualisation of his governorship bid shows that his support and encouragement was handy in navigation through tortuous journey to the top political office.

The governor commended the celebrant’s principled stance on nation building with his admiration for his sense of purpose and zeal for impacting lives.

“On this day, I join family, friends and well-wishers to celebrate a great man of immense purposes who turns 61 years old today.

“Sen. Saraki embodied service as evident in the impacts he made in every position of leadership he occupied with remarkable contributions.

“Be it as governor of Kwara  for eight years or as senator in the upper legislative chamber, he made people the fulcrum of his agenda and this explains the love and respect he commands from his people,” he said.

Adeleke wished Saraki more celebrations in good health and sound mind as he continued to be of immense support to those who relied on his kindness and good deeds.
