Abiodun’s re-emergence as Ogun governor is an act of God — DeBasco

…Appeals to contestants, politicians, residents to support APC second term

Otunba Babatunde Onakoya, popularly known as DeBasco, has said that the re-emergence of Prince Dapo Abiodun as the Executive Governor of Ogun State for second term on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) is an Act and Will of God, asking all contestants to support the good jobs already being done by Prince Abiodun.

The former Federal Board Member of Benin-Owena River Basin Development Authority noted that the re-emergence of Prince Abiodun should be seen as a God’s design and Dapo Abiodun should be allowed to continue the good jobs which are cutting across all the 20 local government areas and three senatorial districts of the State for the benefit of all and sundry.

While referring to the birth of Prince Abiodun in 1960 – the Year of Nigeria’s Independence and its coincidence with Democracy Day, the former Federal Appointee declared that the double celebrations of 63rd Birthday and Swearing-in as Executive Governor for second term in Ogun State testifies to the Will of God which can never be stopped, hence, aggrieved politicians and contestants should accept it and hope for a better contest some other time.

“It must be said here that Prince Abiodun’s governorship and victory of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ogun, Lagos and other States as well as Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Presidency were all designed by God and all Nigerians who are desirable of a better country and good governance should join the moving train of socio-economic growth and political development.

“Let’s us join hands for the upliftment of our country and allow the Wheel of Development and Growth to move without any hindrance — human, mechanical and political, bearing in mind that a better Nigeria, is a better Ogun, Lagos and all other 34 States and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja,” DeBasco said.
