Kaduna Police command tightens security ahead of Yuletide celebration

The Commissioner of Police for Kaduna State Command, CP Ibrahim Abdullahi, has reaffirmed his unwavering commitment to maintaining peace and order throughout the festive season.
In a press statement issued to journalists in Kaduna on Sunday by the Command’s Spokesperson, ASP Mansur Hassan, the CP outlined proactive measures implemented to address potential security challenges and reassure citizens of their safety during the celebrations. These measures include the strategic deployment of the Anti-Kidnapping Unit, Anti-Vice Section, CP Monitoring Unit, and Operation Fushin Kada to key flashpoints across the state.
He stated, “The CP also urged the public to avoid actions that could disrupt the peace and security of the state. Youths are warned to refrain from using banned items such as fireworks, knockouts, and any other materials capable of causing fear or unrest in the streets.”
CP Abdullahi also commended the collaborative efforts of various stakeholders in fostering a harmonious atmosphere throughout the state. He assured the public that the Command would continue to prioritise the protection of lives and property, working diligently to prevent crime and uphold peace during this festive period and beyond.
