Police uncover kidnappers’ hideout in nasarawa, rescuing 14 victims arresting
Operatives of the Nasarawa State Police Command have arrested at least five suspected kidnappers and rescued 14 victims.
According to a statement by the command’s spokesperson, Ramhan Nansel, the operation was carried out by officers from the Toto Division in collaboration with community youths.
The PPRO stated that the operation took place when officers stormed a heavily forested area bordering the FCT and Kogi State.
The rescued victims were identified as Adamu Abdullahi, Musa Ahmed, and Auwal Adamu of Kuje, FCT – Abuja; Hussaini Yakubu, Haruna Usman, Jibrin Bature, Isyaka Yakubu, Sule Bello, and Yusuf Yusuf, all males from Lapai, Niger State.
Others include Yusuf Tashai and Kabiru Iliya of the Rubuchi area of FCT, as well as Sabo Yakubu, Sagir Iliya, and Yunusa Danladi from Tanshi village, Kuje Area Council, FCT – Abuja. The five arrested suspects were identified as Shuaibu Garba, Umar Mohammed, Yakubu Kasim, Mustapha Adamu, and Abdul Mohammed.
