NNL has warned clubs against crowd violence in the new season

The Nigeria National League (NNL) has warned clubs against crowd violence in the new season.

The league organisers emphasized the need for crowd control and urged clubs to desist from restriction of live streaming of matches.

The NNL chairman, Mr George Aluo, gave the advice at the closing ceremony of the coaches and media managers workshop in Ikenne.

Aluo assured clubs participating in the league of prompt payments of referees indemnities.

“We are dedicated to creating a league where clubs can achieve victory solely on their performance, regardless of venue. Referees’ indemnities will be paid on time to support unbiased officiating,” Aluo stated in Ikenne.

“It’s time to end the cycle of ‘we rob you, you rob us.’

“The NNL board remains impartial and will not favor any club. Any grievances should be directed to the secretariat, where it will be addressed promptly.”.

The new season will commence on Saturday November 30.
