Ecobank’s super rewards promo drives customer engagement with N16m in payouts

Ecobank Nigeria has strengthened its relationship with customers through its innovative “Super Rewards Millionaire Geng Promo,” disbursing N16 million since the campaign’s launch in July 2024. 

While the initiative promises a grand total of N42 million in cash prizes, the campaign is more than just a marketing tool, it reflects Ecobank’s strategic approach to deepening customer loyalty and promoting financial inclusion.

Speaking at the monthly and quarterly raffle draw in Lagos, the Regional Head of Ecobank’s Apapa-Isolo Region, Mr. Otega Odjegba, reiterated that the six-month promo is aimed at enhancing customers’ lives. 

He mentioned that it’s not just about rewards, but also recognising the trust and loyalty of customers.

“Our primary goal is to simplify life for our customers and empower them to lead richer lives. We celebrate and value our customers for choosing us,” Odjegba said.

The Super Rewards promo runs until December 31, 2024, targeting both new and existing customers. While promoting financial literacy, the initiative incentivizes maintaining a minimum account balance, fostering a culture of saving. By encouraging customers to engage more with Ecobank’s digital platforms by opening an account with Ecobank.

The Head of Consumer Product and Segment at Ecobank, Victor Yalokwu, explained the simplicity of the promo’s qualification criteria. 

By rewarding over 500 customers with prizes in monthly, quarterly, and grand categories, Ecobank is driving engagement and strengthening its customer base is an attractive prizes ranging from N50,000 to N2,000,000, the bank is not only offering monetary incentives but also encouraging customers to take advantage of its digital banking services.

“As we enter the second half of the campaign, now is your chance to win. For the monthly draw, simply deposit N10,000 and keep it for 30 days for a chance to win N50,000. For the quarterly draw, you can either deposit N50,000 monthly for three months or N150,000 for 90 days to stand a chance to win N500,000.

“For the grand draw, deposit N300,000 and maintain it for 180 days to potentially win a grand prize of N2,000,000. Remember, you also need to complete at least two transactions monthly through our digital channels to qualify.”
