The University of Ilorin has screened 16,097 admission seekers for the 2024 Post-UTME screening exercise. The exercise, which took place between August 29 and August 31, was described as seamless by the Director of the Computer-Based Centre (CBT), Prof. Kamil Rauf.

Prof. Rauf attributed the success of the exercise to the preparation put in place by the University management and the support given to the CBT Centre.

He also noted that the results of the screening exercise were released promptly, which excited many of the candidates.

The CBT Centre, which is equipped with state-of-the-art infrastructure, has impacted positively on internal examinations of the University, including departmental examinations, Institute of Education examinations, and remedial examinations.

The University of Ilorin also conducts external examinations, such as police promotion examinations, pension service promotion examinations, and examinations for the Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria, Nursing Council of Nigeria, and Agricultural Council of Nigeria, among others.

Candidates and parents who spoke to our correspondent expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the exercise and the academic standard of the University. Some of the candidates said they chose the University of Ilorin because of its discipline, morality, and the quality of its infrastructure.
