Man flees Nigeria as cult group vows to kill him

A 26-year-old Nigerian man, Joy Lucky, has fled his home country in fear for his life after being targeted by a cult group who vow to kidnap him.

Lucky, who hails from Uromi in Edo State, left Nigeria on April 10, 2016, and arrived in Europe on October 14, 2016.

The cult group has been threatening Lucky, vowing to kidnap and kill him if he doesn’t join their ranks.
“They have been sending messages to him, saying they will kill him if he does not join them, he left Nigeria to save his life,” one of the sources told newsmen.

Recall that some cult groups, known for their brutal tactics and disregard for human life, have been terrorizing communities in Edo State and beyond.
