Police declares wanted one Edaghese Odinose Oseghale for alleged homosexual activities.

The issue of homosexuality in our contemporary culture has generated so many acrimonies in our country, Nigeria, and Africa as a whole.
As it’s regarded as an abominable practice. Whoever practices is seen as someone who is against the people and is capable of being chased out of the town or outright lynching by the youths based on instructions by the elders.
It’s against this backdrop the Lagos State Police Command, Ikorodu Division, have declared wanted One Edaghese Odinose Oseghale (Male) wanted for alleged homosexuality and other related offenses in the state.
A statement by the Lagos State police command, SP. Olayiwola Toyin, Public relations officer said: “Oseghale” was seen and caught in the act on the 30th of September 2023, making out to his homosexual lover Iyare Lucky but immediately escaped to avoid being lynch by irate mob after an alarm was raised by eye witness and is hereby declared wanted.
The statement further confirmed that two suspects have been placed on a wanted list by the police in Lagos state for their involvement in homosexual acts.
Reading further, the police have also conducted raids on flashpoints in Lagos state, targeting gay suspects who are now on the run.
It was gathered that Edaghese and Iyare had been engaged in lucid homosexual activities right from secondary school days, which had put him and his partner on the list of authorities and surveillance.
Sources also revealed that Iyare was later arrested by the police for possible prosecution, but no one knows the whereabouts of Edaghese Odinose Oseghale as at press time.
The source said the police are still trying their best to ensure his arrest and have asked anyone with useful information about Oseghale, whereabout should report to the nearest police station across the country, as the level of homosexual and bisexual activities is quite alarming, and it is a big offence punishable under the provisions of the Lagos state Penal Code law.
