Whoever hinders my constituents from receiving dividends of democracy is my enemy — Benue Speaker

The Speaker of the 10th Benue Assembly Hon. Hyacinth Aondona Dajoh has declared that any leader who hinders his constituents from receiving dividends of democracy automatically becomes his enemy.
The Speaker gave the warning while addressing people of his constituency preparatory to the thank you tour of the Governor of Benue State Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Iormem Alia over the 2023 governorship polls.
Dajoh sued the people of his constituency to support the administration of Rev. Fr. Dr. Hyacinth Alia, promising to complement what the Governor is doing by ensuring the deliverance of democracy dividends to the people.
The Speaker also announced the appointment of Titus Atondu, state correspondent of Nigerian NewsDirect as the Senior Special Assistant to the Speaker on Media and 13 other persons from his constituency.
Earlier, the APC chairman for Gboko local government Hon.Terfa Iorgilim said the Speaker is the reason for the gathering and thanked him for the opportunity given him to constitute local government and Ward exco.
In separate goodwill messages, Gboko local government council chairman, Hon. Avar Verumum, PSA Ioryue Yaji, Youth leader Terfa Tsetim, Atsenda Shwa eulogised the Governor and the Speaker for their people-oriented leadership disposition and called on all and sundry to give them the maximum support to succeed.
