Okuama locals storm Ewu-Okuama IDP camp for massive registration

In response to provisions to cater for their welfare, following weekend meetings with Governor Sheriff Oborevwori with leaders of Okuama, a large number of Okuama people have stormed the Ewu Internally Displaced People (IDP) Camp for registration.

The Governor had in the meeting promised the people to urgently build a health centre and six blocks classroom as he urged them to move into the camp.

In response to the Governor’s call, men, women and children in buses started arriving at the camp as early as 10.13am for registration.

Several leaders of Okuama were also in the camp, as at the time of filing this report, to help the people with the registration process.
