Ogun deputy governor seeks patience, assures better times
Ogun State Deputy Governor, Mrs Noimot Salako-Oyedele, on Wednesday charged Muslim worshippers that gathered at Otta Community Praying Ground to be patient with the government of President Bola Tinubu.
She said that the present challenges in the country would soon be over, for all to enjoy
NoimotSalako-Oyedele said that people should engage in prayers for the president and all people that were working with him, including the Ogun State Governor and herself.
She urged them to pray that God should give them the wisdom to serve the people better, to have the Nigeria of their dreams.
The deputy governor implored the faithful to continue to exhibit the teachings they received during the Ramadan period on helping the less privileged and live peacefully with one another.
She wished them a happy Eid-el-Fitr celebration.
Olota of Ota, Oba AdeyemiObalanlege, who also had his prayers in the venue, called on parents to train their children and caution them not to engage in any criminal act.
He warned that acts of cultism, scams and the like would result in arrests by security agencies and begging by parents would not be accepted.
He also wished the worshipper a happy celebration.
Muslim faithful gathered at different prayer grounds on Wednesday to mark the Eid-el-Fitr.
