Eid-el-fitr: Lagos Commissioner urges peaceful co-existence

In a gesture of goodwill and solidarity, the Lagos State Commissioner for Women Affairs and Poverty Alleviation (WAPA), Mrs. Cecilia Dada, on Tuesday extended Eid-el-Fitr greetings to Muslims, wishing them a serene and joyful celebration.
Through a statement issued by Eloho Aggreh, Assistant Director Public Affairs Unit at WAPA, Mrs. Dada not only conveyed her felicitations to the Muslim community but also extended her wishes for a happy celebration to all residents of Lagos.
Amidst her warm wishes, Mrs. Dada emphasized the importance of peaceful co-existence within the state, calling upon women to reflect on the teachings of compassion, unity, and mutual respect imparted during the holy month of Ramadan.
Furthermore, she urged women to keep in mind the most vulnerable and impoverished members of society, emphasizing the importance of solidarity and support for those in need.
Expressing optimism for global peace during this sacred season, Mrs. Dada’s message resonated with the spirit of harmony and understanding, encapsulating the essence of Eid-el-Fitr celebrations.
