Hoodlums destroy Edun Ahmed Poultry Farm worth millions of naira

The cultivated farmland belonging to the Executive Officer, CEO, ATBA BIZ Enterprises, Mr Edun Ahmed Olusola have been destroyed by suspected herdsmen.

The herdsmen also destroyed the produce of the farm found on the cultivation which was worth millions of naira.

Ahmed is the Secretary of Poultry Farmers Association of the area.

It would be recalled that four months ago, herdsmen, numbering about eight, besieged the house of Ahmed located at No 43, lkereku Agbetu Abeokuta Ogun State, Nigeria and destroyed some valuables.

Our reporter learnt that Mr Ahmed had earlier raised alarm over suspicious movement of some persons at his environment on September 20th, 2021, a day before the ugly incident on 21st September, 2021.

He later reported the suspicious movements at the nearest police station for urgent security measures.

Ahmed, our reporter revealed, has been living in fear and despair, despite not being around when the attack occurred.

Account by a witness and a neighbour simply identified as Segun, revealed that the hoodlums attacked and overwhelmed the security guard before gaining entrance into the house where they carted away some valuables before destroying some other properties.

The attack to the farmland, many opined, was as a result of the complaint lodged at the Police station.

As a result of the attack, multi million properties were destroyed in the farmland and other cultivations around.

All efforts, to get the reaction of the Ogun State Police Public Relations, Omolola Odutola proved abortive as calls and text put across to her was not returned nor replied.
