JGSG, FG to execute Greater Dutse water project

The Jigawa State government (JGSG) has disclosed that it will be collaborating with the Federal government for the execution of th3 Greater Dutse water Project.

The project which was moribund for sixteen years has been resuscitated by the current government to address the water shortage bedeviling communities in the state.

Governor Umar Namadi of Jigawa State said his government is ready to collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Water Resources to actualise the dream of Greater Dutse water Projects which was abandoned for years.

The Governor stated that their target is to ensure that the Jigawa State Capital Dutse has adequate water supply.

The Governor also appreciated the Federal Ministry of Water Resources for granting the request of Jigawa State in collaboration for the water Projects.

Namadi explained that he met President Tinubu on several occasions to discuss the issue of Dutse Greater water.

Responding, the federal lawmaker representing Jigawa south central senator Mustapha Habib Zanna of Dutse who led a delegation to the Government house said the purpose of their visit is to cooperate with the Jigawa State government to actualise the Dutse Greater water project which was abandoned.
