NCDMB trains 500 youths in Oyo State

500 youths have graduated from the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board (NCDMB) Youth Empowerment Programme in Oyo state, completing Solar Power Installation and Maintenance training facilitated by Senator Teslim Kolawole Folarin, representing Oyo Central Senatorial District.

Folarin in his remark praised the Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Wabote, (FNSE, FIPS) highlighting his dedication to youth training, adding that “If we have 10 Simbis in Nigeria, our country will be a better place.”

Represented by Abdulmalik Halilu, Director, Planning Research and Statistics, NCDMB, Wabote emphasized the program’s importance in addressing Nigeria’s power challenges and creating job opportunities.

He encouraged graduates to utilise their skills and become entrepreneurs in solar power.

Notable attendees included  Corporate Communications and Zonal Co-ordination, NCDMB, Angela Okoro GM,  and Deputy Manager, Zonal Coordination, NCDMB,  Joseph Adebayo.
