Mr Kehinde Aremu-Cole, the North West Zonal Director of NYSC, has tasked Corps members on humility in order to succeed in life.

The Director gave the advice on Wednesday in Katsina while addressing the 2023 NYSC Batch C Stream 1 Corps members deployed to Katsina State.

The Director also urged them to acquire skills through the opportunity provided by the NYSC Skills Acquisition and Entrepreneurship Development Programme.

He said that the programme was designed to make them self reliant and employers of labour after the service year.

Aremu-Cole said that the skills and entrepreneurship programme has a value chain with the capacity of transforming NYSC members to entrepreneurs.

“I encourage you all to key into the value chain programme.

“When you go to the local government area of posting, look for a trainer on that skill you had the training to enable you develop the skills.”

Earlier, the State NYSC Coordinator, Hajiya Aisha Muhammad, said that 1, 244 corps members comprised 681 males and 563 females, registered for the orientation course.
