Tinubu reposes confidence in Gbajabiamila amidst controversies

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has reposed confidence in his Chief of Staff, Rt. Hon. Femi Gbajabiamila.

This is predicated on allegations by some APC who accused the Chief of Staff (CoS) to the President, Femi Gbajabiamila of selling appointments to the highest bidders.

The claim had caused outrage among members of the public who called for a thorough investigation into the matter and demanding the immediate suspension of Gbajabiamila for allegedly profiting from government appointments.

Speaking at the Federal Executive Council meeting, President Tinubu said, “First of all, let me reiterate to all of you that I’ve heard the stories flying around.

“Mistakes will be made and perfection is only for God Almighty. I have 100% confidence in the intergrity of my chief of staff, RT Hon Femi Gbajabiamila.

“All campaign of calunmy against him must stop forwith! If i make mistakes, I’m ready to own up to it.” The President said.
