UNN certificate scandal: Labour Party threatens to suspend Peter Obi

The Lamidi Apapa-led Labour Party has issued a 48 hours ultimatum to the candidate of the Party in the 2023 Presidential elections, Mr Peter Obi to make clear his true academic records or risk suspension.

Dr Abayomi Arabambi, National Publicity Secretary of the party in a statement on Tuesday made this known.

According to the party’s publicity Secretary, the party demanded a response to questions trailing the certificate of Peter Obi obtained from the University of Nigeria Nsukka.

The Party also lamented the press conference organised by Peter Obi.

According to the party, “One would have expected Peter Obi to offer a satisfactory response to Nigerians as to the reasons for explicit discrepancies in his academic records to reveal his true identity and save our party from further avoidable national embarrassment. But rather than toe this line of challenge, his attack dog descended to arena of political somersault leaving facts to promote audio fiction thus confirming our position that Peter Obi is using the name and certificate of his dead elder brother.

“From the above, the juxtaposition of facts and fiction became very relevant to set the record straight as to who is lying, however, Labour Party choose to freely advise Yinusa Tanko to find time to lie down and do a serious thinking about his enslaved life which has kept exposing him  to a stupid acquisition of Mr Peter Obi hate for  other tribes, religion and  the other obvious reasons of ‘wetin I go chop.’

“It is therefore established that Yinusa Tanko, a non-member of the Labour Party is a product of enslaving stomach — infrastructure poison.

“Yinusa Tanko is a sorry victim of greed and corrupted mind that are common to all in the money-for-hand-back-for-ground colony of the political slaves and since this was  his portion in life as determined by his indolence, all we can say is that he is welcome to the life he has willingly chosen.

“Julius Abure and Yinusa Tanko should keep living their  life of misery in defeat as their deserved portion of low life is a mere instrument in the hands of the political irredentist.”

The statement reads further, “It is a peculiar shame to Mr Peter Obi, the temporary LP Presidential Candidate that all their joint investment in the objectives of weakening Labour Party crashes in their EVIL faces so much embarrassingly. It is quite exciting to once again assure the public that the era of cash and carry politics is behind many and most of us in the political field of Nigeria.

“First, it must be made clear to the public that there was no evidence provided by Peter Obi against the allegations of forgery, impersonation and inconsistencies contained in his School Certificate, University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) certificate and NYSC certificate but rather their empty and bitter vituperation  was the result of the evil political machinations of the desperate coalition in-tow of  the few bought, yes purchased marionettes in the obidient family answering to some non-existent Former and police criminally indicted  National Chairman Julius ABURE and a set of very few and insignificant pretenders answering to the President of Alaba international Republic of Anambra Nation.

“The Labour party world PRESS Conference on Friday October 13th 2023 made it clear to all Nigerians that contrary to the disinformation, lies, falsehood dishonesty and deception that Peter obi and his media team are now known for, the facts of the matter with regards to our  allegations against Mr Obi speaks for itself as they say in law terminology Res ipsa loquitur.”

Labour party furthermore demanded to know why Mr Obi only deemed it fit and necessary to only submit his WAEC certificate wherein he failed to obtained the least requirement of credit passes in both mathematics and English which are necessary requirements to gain admission into any university in Nigeria.

Labour party demanded Mr Peter Obi to explain the  circumstances that made him to have different names in different schools public documents in such a shrouded and fraudulent  manner, rather than employing blackmail, sentiments and unnecessary sentiments.

“We challenge Mr Peter Obi to provide answers to all the questions raised above to clear the air of uncertainty about his person.

“We further admonish him to proceed to court of Law against Labour party or better still to asked his team of Lawyers to petition the Inspector General of Police for defamation which will allow us an ample opportunity to bring in the authorities of his secondary school, University of Nigeria Nsukka and the National Youth Service Corp out for clarification on the inconsistencies.

“Failure to do this within the next 48hours will attract his suspension from LABOUR PARTY. This is Labour party final words,” the statement read.
