Abbas declares seats of Olubunmi-Ojo, Sununu
The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajudeen Abbas has declared vacant the seats of Tunji Olubunmi-Ojo and Tanko Sununu, who were appointed ministers by President Bola Tinubu.
Mr Abbas declared the seats vacant after reading communications from the erstwhile lawmakers. The duo in separate letters announced their resignations from the House.
Meanwhile, the House also swore in Salisu Majigari and administered the oath of office to him.
It would be recalled that Majigiri was declared by the Supreme Court as the winner of the Mashi/Dutsi federal constituency of Katsina State after dismissing a case against him.
