Ministerial list: It’s too early for anyone to complain — Hon. Makinde

A former member of the House of Representatives representing Ife Federal Constituency has stated that it is too early for anyone to complain about the President Tinubu-led administration.

Hon. Makinde spoke in an interview after the conclusion of the ministerial screening of Alh Gboyega Oyetola who he accompanied to the National Assembly premises for the ministerial screening.

According to Makinde, “I appeal to the public to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu benefit of the doubt and trust to do the needful to reposition the economy of the nation most especially as result of the hardship associated with increased in the cost of petroleum products as it affects our daily need.

“It’s also too early for those who did not made the ministerial list to begin to groan or complain.

“There are a lot of opportunities for every of us to serve and partner with the President to move this nation forward and therefore we should not feel slighted, betrayed or jettisoned by mere appointments of this few individuals who are lucky.”

Speaking further, Makinde noted that the President’s decision not to nominate every stakeholder who contributed to his victory does not mean the president never appreciated everyone who helped in his journey to victory.

Makinde is one of the founders of South West Agenda (SWAGA)  a group well known to be in the forefront that started the revolution that ushered in Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s presidential ambition.
