EPL: It will be different – Jesus names team to challenge Man City next season

Arsenal striker, Gabriel Jesus, has said they would challenge Manchester City again for the title next season.

The Gunners finished second behind Pep Guardiola’s men last term, despite leading the way for over 200 days.

Jesus has now admitted that nerves within the squad contributed to Arsenal falling short.

However, he is backing his team-mates to learn from the experience and go again.

Ahead of their final pre-season match against Barcelona, Jesus said: “It’s difficult to know (where we fell short) but I believe sometimes at the end of the season, we were a little bit nervous as a team.

“They were not nervous as normally they win so that made a difference. This season we have experience of this and it will be different.”
