Adeleke presents Staff of Office to Osun Monarch

Osun State Governor,  Ademola Adeleke has presented a Staff of Office and Instrument of appointment to Oba Lawal Ogundugba Ramoni, the Alararomi of Araromi – Ijesa in Atakunmosa West LCDA of Osun State.

Speaking, at the event, Adeleke said the restoration of the Oba to Part II (Recognised) status went through due process which made all the stakeholders happy.

He appealed to the residents of the community to shun all acts of violence to continue to sustain the existing peace they have been known for over the years.

Adeleke, who was represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Dosu Babatunde urged the people of Araromi-Ijesha to cooperate with their new monarch just as he reiterated his commitment to ensuring the peaceful co-existence of people in all communities in Osun state.

He enjoined the residents of the town to reciprocate the good gesture of his administration by discharging their civic responsibilities through regular payment of taxes and other levies to enable the government to carry out its developmental programs for the people of the state.

In his acceptance speech full of gratitude to God and his subjects, Oba Lawal Ogundugba Ramon appreciated the State Governor just as he also commended him for the unprecedented achievements recorded throughout Osun state since he became its Chief Executive Officer.

The monarch pledged his commitment to form a synergy with the Osun State Government to harness the mineral resources in Araromi for the benefit of the people of the community and the state at large.
