Transfer: Chelsea tells EPL rival Gallagher’s price tag

Chelsea has set a fee for midfielder Conor Gallagher, who is being pursued by Premier League rival Tottenham Hotspur.

New Tottenham Hotspur manager Ange Postecoglou has identified Gallagher as a replacement for Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, who is attracting interest from Spanish La Liga giants Atletico Madrid.

According to the Telegraph, Chelsea will demand a fee of over £50 million to part ways with Gallagher this summer, following interest from Tottenham.

Gallagher made 35 Premier League appearances for Chelsea last season, though 17 of those were as a substitute.

The England star emerged from Chelsea’s academy and was recalled to Stamford Bridge following an impressive loan spell with Crystal Palace in the 2021–2022 season.
