EPL: He helps people – Toure slams those asking why Mane doesn’t buy big cars

Former Manchester City attacking midfielder, Yaya Toure has lauded former Liverpool star, Sadio Mane for his philanthropy.

Toure is impressed by the way the Senegalese are helping people back in his country.

According to him, rather than drive big cars, the Bayern Munich forward is dedicated to giving support to his people.

“The way he deals with things smoothly and the support he gives back to his people in his country is incredible,” Toure, a former Barcelona and Manchester City star told Match of the Day Africa: Top 10.

“Some days, I get mad when I read media about him and a journalist will ask him, ‘Why don’t you have a Ferrari’, and he says, ‘No, I don’t need it. I prefer to have a normal car’.

“Two months later we see him. He’s been doing things back in his home country. He’s a big example.”

Mane, who joined Bayern Munich from Liverpool in a deal worth up to £35 million, has netted 12 goals in 38 matches for his current outfit
