By Saka Laaro, Ilorin

A group known as Moro AA Unity Forum in Kwara State on Thursday said the emergence of presidenr-elect,  Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu was God’s ordained.

The group declared that no amount of gang-up, conspiracy and evil machination of the enemies can stop the swearing-in of Tinubu as president on the 29th of May this year.

The leader of the group and a Second Republic lawmaker in Kwara State, Chief Wole Oke said this in Oyun, Moro Local Government Area of the State during an interdenominational prayer organised by the group to celebrate the victory of Tinubu, Governor AbdulRazaq and all other APC candidates in Kwara north at the February 25th and March 18th elections.

Oke added that “Tinubu has a lot of enemies. Some are even wishing him dead. They are not the giver of life yet they are playing God. God will disappoint them as nothing will stop his inauguration come May 29th.”

The elder statesman said the prayers were put in place to appreciate the mightiness of God for the victory of all APC candidates at the Federal and State levels, especially the candidates from Kwara North which Moro Local Government is a part of.

He noted that the re- election of  AbdulRazaq was predicated on his creditable performance in the about-to-expire first term administration.

He urged the group to be more focused and united in rallying round the Governor in his second term in office.

Chairman of APC in the State, Prince Sunday Fagbemi hailed the people of Moro Local Government Area 3 for voting massively for all APC candidates at the polls.

Represented by the party’s Secretary, Alh Mustapha Isowo, Fagbemi thanked party faithful in the council for not allowing internal crisis before the elections to affect the outcome of APC at the polls.

The Deputy Governor, Mr Kayode Alabi was represented at the event by the Commisioner for Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Mohammed Saifudeen. Other diginataries at the event included the commisssioner for Tertiary Education, Dr Afees Abolore, Hon. AbdulMumin Katibi and Engr Layi Ayinde among others.
