Gov. Oyebanji appoints governing councils for state-owned institutions

Ekiti Governor, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has  approved the appointment of Chairmen and members of the governing councils of three tertiary institutions in the state.

This is contained in a statement by Oyebanji’s Special Adviser on Media, Mr Yinka Oyebode and made available to journalists on Wednesday in Ado-Ekiti.

According to the statement, Prof. Akin Oyebode has been appointed the Pro Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council,  Ekiti University, (EKSU) Ado-Ekiti.

Members of the council are Prof. Demola Omojola, Chief Bayo Awosemusi, Dr Israel Ovirhi, Mr Dipo Ajayi and Mrs Foluso Olaniyan.

The rest are Mrs Bunmi Akingba, Mr Rotimi Esho, Prof. C O. Kolawole, and Alhaji Abdusalam Babatunde.

The Governing  Council of  Bamidele Olumilua University of Education, Science and  Technology, (BUEST) Ikere-Ekiti, has  Chief Wole Olanipekun (SAN) as Chancellor,  Prof. Dipo Aina as Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of Council .

Other members are Prof. Dele Olowokudejo, Mr S. I. Folorunso, Mr Olusola Ibitoba, Mrs Iyabo Obasa, Mrs Bola Fasuan, Dr Isah Aileonokhuoya  and Prof. Sehinde  Oluwatosin.

The Governing  Council Ekiti University Teaching Hospital (EKSUTH), has Dr Adedamola Dada as Chairman and Dr Adebola Orimadegun as member.

The rest are Dr J O. Oguntoye, Alhaja Muibat Akingbade, Mr Soji Agunbiade, Mr Ilesanmi  Olugbenga and Mr Adetunji Kolawole.

The statement further said the date for their inauguration ceremony would be announced later.
