NNPP, YPP, Labour parties collapse structures for APC as Akpabio preaches one love to party members

The All Progressives Congress Senatorial candidate for Akwa Ibom Northwest, Senator Godswill Akpabio on Thursday spiced up the party’s mega rally in Uyo with the message of love to the women, youths and stakeholders to go out and vote Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu for president, Obong Akan Udofia, governor and all other candidates of the party during Saturday’s elections.

He said this even as the NNPP, YPP, Labour and others collapsed structures for Senator Akpabio calling on the youths to take it as a duty to vote for candidates of the party.

According to him, “our duty is to make sure we use our PVCs tomorrow (Saturday) for Tinubu.

“Your votes will end poverty, hunger and deprivation in Akwa Ibom State by supporting Obong Akan Udofia as governor.

“We shall win this election and most importantly, NNPP, YPP and Labour Parties have callapsed their structures for me in Ikot Ekpene Senatorial District, so, my wining will be across party line. Don’t be left out in joining the band wagon”.

The APC governorship candidate, Obong Akan Udofia who said, “it is our turn” to banish non payment of gratuity and pensions to government retirees promised shared prosperity to the people of the state if given the mandate in March election.

He said, the Ibaka Deep seaport project will be realizable in his time, while ensuring the local government autonomy, free education, financial grants to women to develop their businesses and training of youths on vocations and trade etc.

Also, the Minister, Ministry of Niger Delta Affairs, Mr. Umana Okon Umana charged the people of Uyo Senatorial District to que behind the APC Governorship candidate saying that, he is tested and a proven international business mogul, who will bring his experience to bear in the management of both human and material resources of the state.

He said, Akan will open up the state and create employment for young people and share prosperity as well.

Umana, however called on the people to also support Ahmed Tinubu as president stating that, “Tinubu is the man of the moment; a man who did well by bringing development as governor of Lagos State.

The campaign rally was attended by the youths, women, party stakeholders amongst others.
