Klopp sympathizes with Chelsea legend, Frank Lampard
Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp, has admitted that he feels sympathy for Chelsea legend Frank Lampard after the former England manager was sacked as Everton coach.
Klopp also expressed confidence Lampard still has a future as a top-level coach.
Recall that Everton sacked Lampard on Monday following a series of poor results.
Speaking on Everton’s decision to sack Lampard, Klopp said while speaking ahead of Liverpool’s FA Cup fourth-round tie against Brighton on Sunday, “That is the business.
“Last year was not easy, but he did well. Lost Richarlison and Calvert-Lewin, we know how injuries can impact the season in decisive positions.
“We in the job have to accept that. He will be back, he is a young coach.”
