NNPC LTD, FMWH, FIRS inspect Bida-Lambata road

The  Board of Directors  Nigerian National Petroleum Company, NNPC  led by the Group Chief Executive officer, CEO O, Engr. Mele kolo  Kyari were on  a joint inspection tour with the management of Federal Ministry of Works and Housing and Federal Inland Revenue Services on the Bida-Lambata road in Niger State.

The road under inspection is said to be a critical road funded by the NNPC LTD under the Federal Government Road Infrastructure Tax Credit Scheme (RITCS) in which the equivalent amount will be deducted by Federal Inland Revenue Services (FIRS) from the Company’s tax obligations.

The NNPC LTD made this known via its official twitter account on Thursday 8 December, 2022, stating that the Company is currently funding the construction of 21 roads across the country at a total cost of 621.24 billion Naira with a total distance of 1,804.6km covering identified federal road which are also critical to NNPC’s operations.

Royal Fathers who were seen present at the ongoing Bida-Lambata road inspection tour are His Royal Majesties,  Dr. Yahaya Abubakar, Emir of Bida; Muhammadu Kudu Abubakar, Emir of Agaie; as well as NNPC LTD GCEO, and its Board of Directors, management of FIRS and FMWH.
