2023: Atiku will guarantee 40% political positions for youths if elected — Youth Wing

The Peoples Democracy Party (PDP) Atiku Youth Wing, has assured that Nigerian youths would get 40 per cent of political positions if its Presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar is elected come 2023 general elections.

This was disclosed to Nigerian NewsDirect Newspaper during a World Press Conference of the Atiku Youth Wing titled, ‘The wings of the Unifiier’, held on Tuesday in Abuja.

The group called on every youths especially in all facets of Nigeria to rally support for Atiku based on his competence, capability and proven credentials in governance.

Speaking at the briefing, the National Team Lead, Hon. Idris Kalgo stated that Atiku has all required resume to take the Nation out of the wood.

He stressed that the need for youths to support Atiku cannot be over-emphasized because he is the only Presidential candidate that would guarantee youths inclusiveness.

He said that Atiku is the solution to poor level infrastructures, poor health facility, dilapidated education system and structures, the continuous fall of Naira in Nigeria.

According to him, “It is equally important to state that the promise of allocating 40 per cent of political positions to Nigeria Youths in the Atiku Abubakar government is not an empty one, onlyy carved on paper.  Nigerian Youth should be aware that it will be followed to the later, on all considerations but remember we have to earn it by being good ambassador,” he stated.

He further added that, “We want to let the Nigerian Youth know that the registration portal to individual membership of the Atiku Youth Wing is now up and running, accessible both to Nigerian youth at home and in the Diaspora.”
