Women’s Euro stadiums
You may have noticed that we are well underway in the UEFA Women’s Euros with a number of matches to have already taken place in the tournament. Something else you may have noticed if you have been keeping tabs on this competition is the fact that it is being played in England this summer.
Indeed, it would not be a surprise if there were many who were looking to get their football fix this summer with a later-than-usual FIFA World Cup this year and have substituted it with this wonderful sporting spectacle. Additionally, it would not be a shock if many were tuning in because of the growth that the women’s game has received in recent years.
Naturally, there will also be many that will have seen this growth as a great way to also enhance one of their favorite pastimes, too, with online betting having increased in popularity simultaneously. As a result, they are able to enjoy the best Betway bet games while watching one of their favorite sports at the same time!
Those who keenly watch the English Premier League on a weekly basis when fixtures take place will perhaps recognize many of the stadiums that are being used in the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros this summer, but we thought we would give you a rundown of the venues used in this tournament just in case there are a few stadiums that are not quite as well-known like Wembley.
How many stadiums and cities are the 2022 UEFA Women’s Euros being played across?
The current competition is being played in a total of nine cities, with 10 different stadiums being used. London – the capital of England – and Manchester are the only destinations that will see two stadiums be used in order to host games, with the Final of the tournament being played at the national stadium Wembley on July 31.
So, which cities and stadiums are being used?
- Brighton & Hove Community Stadium (30,000 capacity) – Brighton & Hove – home of Brighton & Hove Albion
- Brentford Community Stadium (17,000 capacity) – London – home of Brentford
- Wembley (90,000) – London – home of the England national team

Of course, venues including Stadium MK, New York Stadium, and those that are home to teams in the Women’s Super League may be less familiar, but they will show that they are up to scratch for this important tournament.
