Christ Apostolic Church (CAC), Oke-Iyanu District, Sango-Ota, Ogun State has inducted the church’s new Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel Gbadegbo Banmeke amid gaiety.

This is even as the church was elevated to a District from an assembly on Sunday.

In his sermon during the induction service, the Oniwaya DCC Superintendent, Pastor I.A Awgu, urged the congregation to never be ashamed of the gospel.

Pastor Awgu said he was happy with the new feat and mentioned that it is not the end of the journey as he believes the new D.S. is ready to take actions when it comes to the gospel of the Lord.

He encouraged the members to be obedient, supportive in prayers and other things as the new D.S will be representing the church with honour.

“Do more for God as there is always a reward for all actions taken,” he charged the members.

Speaking, the newly inducted District Superintendent, Pastor Emmanuel Gbadebo Banmeke, who was overwhelmed with joy, said the new role wasn’t given to him on a platter of gold but rather with works and efforts when it came to the activities of the Lord.

He thanked all members of the church, stating that unity has been keeping them strong, urging them to continue to dwell in Christ as more is ahead of them to achieve.

“As we have been coming in unity, it is the work of this unity that made this church grow from assembly to district, it is that unity that we have been coming with that I will employ each and every member to follow because we still have more ahead of us.”

Pastor Banmeke noted that with the new role attained, the job at hand will require him to increase his activities in the Lord.

He concluded by urging Nigerians to be honest in everything they do so that the Lord’s promises for Nigeria will come to pass.
