Court dismisses suit against Masters Energy
A High Court of Lagos State sitting at the Lagos Judicial Division has dismissed a civil suit filed by Mut-Hass Petroleum Ltd which joined Masters Energy Oil & Gas Ltd as a second defendant.
The suit which was instituted by Mut-Hass Petroleum Ltd with Suit No. LD/1035/CMW/2015 listed the United Bank of Africa (UBA) Plc as the First Defendant and Masters Energy Oil & Gas Ltd as a Second Defendant was dismissed following a ruling delivered by Honorable Justice B.A Oke-Lawal (Mrs) on 12/01/22.
It will be recalled that a criminal suit No. A/62/2016 against Masters Energy Oil & Gas Ltd, UBA, Uche Ogah, and Deji Somoye was struck out on 12th October 2016 by Chief Magistrate K.B Ayeye (Mrs).
This brings to an end the long legal battle between Mut-Hass Petroleum Ltd and Masters Energy Oil & Gas Ltd and her Directors.
