Agony of motherhood ‘n’ Tunes of misfortune: Reality of unsound judgment

The official presentation and launching of two breathtaking episodic books: Agony of motherhood and Tunes of misfortune authored by child right activist and gender based violence prevention tutor, Chioma Arinze-Ukandu, took place at the College of Transport and Logistics, Lagos state university (LASU).

The episodic books showcase the reality of unsound judgment made by several families, parents and society at large towards early marriage and marriage slavery that eventually leads many to career stagnation, sustaining permanent injury or untimely death.

Chioma, the author of the two episodic books, noted during the book launch that children especially the female child must be properly guided by parents to choose their career first before marriage of any type, and since the dynamics of world keeps changing, a woman must be skillful and educated in order to be able to make right decisions for herself.

She stated that these book were real life stories that had inspired her to pour mind and thoughts into writing of these books.
