By Dave Okpogadie, Asaba

In view of the incessant communal clashes, sometimes over trivial matters, communities have been advised to place high premium on education and dialogue and also ensure it takes eminence in their relationships and dealings with their neighbours to sustain peaceful coexistence.

Special Adviser to the Delta State Governor  on Chieftaincy Matters, Judiciary and Chairman Committee on Prerogative of Mercy, Chief Bar. Andi Osawota, stated this while speaking with journalist in Asaba.

He explained that Communities which are fortunate to be endowed with human, natural and material resources should try to be friendly with all.

The Special Adviser stated that in some cases where Communities do engage one another in disputes over boundary matters and resources found in their soil is not the best.

He stated that if proper education, enlightenment and dialogue are put in place, such crises can be nipped in the bud,  without recourse to acrimony and animosity.

Chief Barr. Andi Osawota  commended the Delta State Governor, Senator, Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa  for the inauguration of the Delta traditional rulers council led by HRM Felix Majekpuero, Orodje of Okpe.
